The first social event of the newly formed Shetland Maritime Heritage Society is pleased to invite members and non-members for a maritime themed social evening in the Lerwick Boating Club.
Tommy Isbister will show and discuss a selection of traditional woodworking tools used in boat building and tell a few stories of the history of his own tools. This will be followed by a few nautical themed tunes from local group, Haltadans and a chance to chat about boats!
Bar facilities will be available.
