October Activities Delivered

Published on: Oct 20, 2020

While events and public activities are still restricted due to Coronavirus, we have found ways to ensure delivery of activities on behalf of our client, Living Lerwick, to ensure the October holidays have something to offer.

October Activities Delivered

The ongoing spread of Coronavirus continues to see restrictions placed on events, activities and even eating out. In order to help attract people to the town centre in Lerwick, we have come up with a range of activities for our client, Living Lerwick, to ensure families can visit the area and have fun safely and in a socially responsible way.

In addition to ongoing support of local businesses through providing advice, information and guidance updates, the team at Realta Events have set up a Love Local Hub for visitors to view a showcase of products available from local outlets. The Hub also acts as a pick up point for activity and competition entry forms where families can take part in the Star Trail hunt, colouring competition, walking trails and Neepie Lantern Hunt.

Town Centre mascot, Maunsie da Market Cross, has also been on hand to chat to shoppers, pose for photos with bairns and generally cause a talking point in the town centre as he spreads the word on the importance of buying local.

We will continue to seek solutions to the challenges thrown at us by the virus, whether for event provision or communicating important messages to customers and the general public.

You can find the range of activities available on the Living Lerwick events page.
